Practical skills for real emergencies
Here’s what you’ll cover during your one-day course:
Systematic emergency response
Approach emergencies calmly and methodically using the DRSABCDE framework.
CPR and AED skills
Perform effective CPR and confidently use an AED to give a casualty the best chance of survival.
Minor trauma management
Manage cuts, bruises, sprains, and crush injuries with hands-on techniques.
Bleeding control
Stop life-threatening bleeding, including proper tourniquet use.
Burns and wound care
Treat chemical, sun, and friction burns and prevent further injury
Heat illness and electrocution
Recognise and manage heat exhaustion, heatstroke, and electrical injuries.
Practical application scenarios
Practice your skills in realistic, high-risk workplace emergency scenarios.
