Here’s what you’ll cover during your one-day course:
Emergency response basics
Learn to assess and manage life-threatening situations using the DRSABCDE framework in a calm, structured way.
Red flags and escalation
Identify early warning signs, decide when to seek professional help, and follow clear workplace escalation procedures.
CPR, AED, and choking
Build confidence performing CPR, operating an AED, and responding quickly and safely to choking incidents.
Bleeding and wound care
Treat everything from minor cuts to severe bleeding using dressings, pressure techniques, and tourniquets.
Burns and musculoskeletal injuries
Recognise and manage common burns and injuries such as fractures, sprains, and strains to stabilise the casualty.
Scenarios and compliance
Apply your skills in realistic scenarios while learning how to document incidents and meet workplace compliance standards.
